And I still get to drive this. It's not a complaint, it's a fucking win. ^_^

Is it not normal for 944’s to be driven in December?

I think he’s just excited he doesn’t have to pull a Montego and park it in the garage until May.
We also normally have a pile of snow by now and there was only a few inches that has melted already. No reason to hide!

Well Master Cylinder daily drives his through winter, and I usually stop driving mine after first snowfall. I was only able to drive mine until the third week of November last year due to constant snowfall. Thanks to a change of insurance stuff and the lack of snow we’ve had so far, I can keep driving mine! :)

I have a complaint with it, and that complaint is that it means I can’t go play in snowy parking lots.

I just want to see how the 924 is in the snow. I loved driving my Miata in the snow. The drive to school was a rally stage every morning.

I know! I’m hoping to catch a day where it snows and no salt is laid out so I can give it a shot.

Whereabouts are you? The past two weeks have been unusually cold in California, so I would have thought the rest of the country outside CA/AZ/FL would be building snowmen by now.

It’s not lens distortion. It’s actually a common problem on all N/A 944s except the Turbo and S2 models it seems. The front spoilers, made of some polyurethane, tend to deform, and look uneven and very worn over time, especially if the car has seen many curbs.
There are brackets that can be adjusted to kinda “reshape” the spoiler to the original shape but it’s not a 100% fix. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one, maybe my uncle’s that still has a completely straight spoiler without any damage that looks like this one above.
When I repaint mine in the future, I’m gonna remove it and see if I can straighten it out with some heat and massaging pressure without breaking it and see if I can brace it in any way.
